Total Quality Management
for Engineers and Technologists

Student Reports

NOTICE

These reports have been produced by student teams at the University who have taken this TQM401 course in Total Quality Management in the Engineering program. They follow the guidelines of either the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award, the Deming Prize, ISO9000, or the QS-9000 criteria. The purpose of the course is not to apply for these awards, but to learn about all aspects of TQM. Thus, there are some areas that are treated more lightly and others more in depth than might otherwise be expected.

The content of the material is that of the students working with real or made-up organizations. As the instructor, I make no claims to the accuracy of this information. It is an attempt by students in a few short months to understand how quality principles can be applied to managing an organization. Any errors or omissions are unintentional. Ownership of these reports rest with the authors.

Data in these reports may have been sanitized or changed to protect the confidentiality of the host organization.
